This relay kit is only necessary for certain makes and models, typically tose that can detect the different voltage being pulled by your new HID kits versus your old halogen bulbs. It is not required for most HID conversions. This item comes with (2) Relay Harnesses to be added to each side of the HID system. It is installed between the vehicle headlight harness and the HID kit.
